You're missing the point here: This system was implemented for legal issues. If you're a friend of the uploader you have the legal rights to share the files with him. So Wixi looks more like a private network sharing platform and can raise more funds without adding advertisement.

Btw Sébastien, I wouldn't be totally opposed to a 5-10 sec ad before each of my movies. It would be a minor annoyance.

I am on Wixi since more than 1 year now and I don't see any problems with this new system. This is always the same people who are uploading files. You have to ask them one time to be your "friends" and you will have always access to their files.

I am consulting every day the desktop of Eddy, tuffwar and the other ones....
As Wixi user, the new system is not a problem...

On the other side, I can imagine that this important uploaders have to become a lot too much invitation every day. Each time, an email. You can also imagine how look your mail box when you become 20 or 30 invitations. I can understand why you find that annoying....

If it is a chat feaure i dont see an option like in msn messenger where i can appear offline. If im watching a film i dont want to chat to someone but because of this feature it will show when im online and so people may start to chat with me. This is shit.

At least give us the option to not have these new features instead of thrusting them on us.
